1st Appointment:

Intraoral Scanner Protocol

  1. Take both maxillary and mandibular impressions with alginate or heavy body PVS
  2. Pour stone models and take a PVS bite and submit your case
  1. Take a intraoral scan of the Maxillary Arch
  2. Take an intraoral scan of the Mandibular Arch
  3. Take an intraoral scan of the bite. Save all files on STL and place order on the DENTCA website

2nd Appointment:

DENTCA-TEMP Delivery

  1. Place implants in the mouth by utilizing the DENTCA Surgical Stent as reference
  2. Place temporary abutment cylinders on the implants
  3. Create openings on the DENTCA-Temp that align with the abutment cylinders, by utilizing a slow speed hand piece and an acrylic bur
  4. Place the newly adjusted DENTCA-Temp in the mouth and fill the spaces around the abutments with auto cure acrylic
  5. Unscrew DENTCA-Temp once cured and grind out excess acrylic. Grind off posterior extensions in appliance
  6. If delivering a complete set, repeat steps with opposing DENTCA-Temp restoration; making sure to check the bite before applying acrylic around the abutments
  7. Position the DENTCA-Temp restoration(s) back in the mouth and screw it in. Adjust the occlusion as necessary
